Enclose your search in quotes : "only search for this exact sentence"
lenny mambos : will return all results that have the word lenny or mambos
san -antonio : will return all results that have the word san and exclude any that contain antonio
Wildcards: san* : will return san antonio, santa ines etc.
Click on a marker or the sidebar entry to open up the Info Window and any description appears below the map.
You can move the map around in the window by holding down the left mouse button and moving the mouse.
Click to zoom into the maximum zoom.
Click to zoom out.
Click to reset the map to its original zoom and position.
Click to close the info window
"Map" shows roads names, Satellite shows the area as seen from above, Hybrid is a combination of the two. 3D shows the google earth version but only currently works on Firefox, IE6 & IE7 on windows - Google don't support safari or macs yet.
There maybe some areas where the max zoom is different on the Map view or Satellite View. Use the button to zoom out by one step if there is no imagery***.
Right click on the map brings up similar zoom options
Left double click on the mouse zooms in by 1 step, right double click zooms out by one step. For right double click on a Mac, hold down the Control key and click.
*** We are reliant on Google maps for the imagery, who get their data from various sources - some of this will be out of date or inaccurate - unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it other than wait for new information to be supplied to Google.
